Our first NSRTF fundraiser was the Help Free Mo Campaign. The premise: The Boreal Company West Lieutenant, Sir Mohammad Sevim Uglu Gowan Uglu, was kidnapped, and the Boreal Army Commander didn't have the funds to pay his ransom, so the NSRTF undertook the task of trying to raise the ransom money to Free Mo. As an added bonus, for every $20.00 donation, donors were given a "I Helped Free Mo T-shirt". A number of left over t-shirts were later sold at the Fall Harvest Event in L'ile du Dragon Dormant, where Sir Mohammad was inducted into the Order of the Chivalry. Sir Mohammed was kind enough to sign shirts for those interested.

As part of their Herne the Hunter annual event, Lady Gavlinne and Mistress Gwenhwyfar organized a promise tree auction. Baron Seumas served as auctioneer, as a collection of wonderful items, donated by the generous people of Ruantallan, were auctioned off. Thank you to everyone who contributed.

Mistress Gwenhwyfar Dinas Emrys and Lord Seamus Tableburner collaborated on the construction of a medieval feast chest on which tickets were sold. The draw took place at the Crown Tournament Event in May 2004 in the Barony of Ruantallan. Congratulations to Lord William Lancton, the winner of this fine carry-all.

Lady Gavlinne organized this fundraiser through Vesey's Seeds in Prince Edward Island. A number of Ruantallaners participated by taking orders from friends and family for spring bulbs. Special thanks to Brianna inghen Douglass who sold the most bulbs!

Baroness Esperanza organized this fundraiser at the 2004 East Kingdom University held in the Barony of Ruantallan. Again, Ruantallaners came through with a fabulous selection of items to raffle off. Thank you to everyone who contributed, and to everyone who bid!

The previous years auction was such a success that Mistress Gwenhwyfar and Lady Gavlinne decided to do it again. The generosity of Ruantallaners continued as the populace volunteered a huge amount of items. Many thanks to Mistress Elizabeth Darnley, who donated the highest selling item of the day - a full Mongol outfit. And congratulations to the winner, Lord Cailean mac Eachduinn, who battled hard to gain his prize!

In an effort to rid the basements, storage sheds, and closets of the populace from the huge amount of lost and found items that have been collected over the years, Lord Lachlan and Lady Janet offered the NSRTF a table at their event to sell off these items. Many thanks to Lady Niniae, the main source for storing these lost and found items, and for running the table at the event. The photo you see here isn't of a lost item, but it is a photo of a "Lost" with a new "Found" toy!

In honour of the visit of our Viking Royals, King Thorson and Queen Svava, Lord Gareth Grey de Wilton organized a pub crawl. Lord Gareth sold t-shirts for the event, sporting our horned helmet viking character, and all the profits for the t-shirt sales were donated to the NSRTF. What better combination could their be - a great social event AND a fundraiser!

Lord Gilbert the Short came up with a wonderful fundraising idea...a Medievally Nude Calendar. With the help of Mistress Elizabeth Darnley volunteers were conscripted to pose in their "period knickers" for photos to adorn our calendar. And we must thank all our volunteer models from across the Knowne World...for without them the calendar would never have been as much fun!

This years' auction was specifically earmarked to assist in the travel expenses for EK Royalty to attend the proposed Crown Tournament 2008 bid from the Shire of Lyndhaven. Thank you to everyone who contributed and everyone who participated with tickets and bidding! Should the Lyndhaven bid not be accepted, all funds will revert to the geographic area in which they were raised, the Barony of Ruantallan. Should the bid be accepted, if there is an excess of funds remaining following the coverage of TRM travel expenses, those funds will also revert back to the Barony of Ruantallan.
